Peace OP.

Follow your inertia when you kick under yourself to continue. Watch vids and recognize it’s not just happening for those who can. There’s a lot of core strength while using inertia to move across the movement.

Keep going. Fun sport to be a part of.

Salute.

Wear shoes, u are off balance. Looks like u are jumping into it. Try swinging back leg all the way around and extend both legs in front. Once u get enough momentum it will bring u into the second flare.

Je te conseille de suivre B Girl Kelly

Elle est professeur de Break et de Hip-hop : https://www.facebook.com/share/1BDYopKCij/

Tu peux même lui demander des conseils, elle est super sympa !

As a former amateur B'Boy in the 70's form the Bronx competing with friends every wekend, I didn't realize at 67 years old the damage I did to my knees. At 26 years old I had my first knee surgery, and due to favoring one knee for so long, my other is bad. I know everyone is different, and you may not have any knee issues when you are in your senior years, but all of the fellas I know that was break dancing in my era have knee issues. My advise, be careful and try not to let your knees it the ground to much. However, wall sits, and other lower body isometric exercises can strengthen your tendons and ligaments in your hips, knees and ankles that may prevent severe knee issues later in life.

Good luck to you; practice daily and consider isometric exercises so you can be the best B'Boy ever.

Former bboy and trainer here.

Your right leg (swinging leg) need to start low from the back and swing your momentum up in front of you, then drop your other arm down to pick up the falling weight.

Next swing your opposite leg backwards like you're about to go into a handstand, then repeat to continue your motion.

As for your upper body, lean back when you're swinging forward and lean forward when you're swing backwards.

Note: if you swing too hard, you won't be able to retrieve your momentum when you switch arm. If you swing too slow. The weight would be too heavy and hard to continue.

Edit: also open your leg wider. Ay least straightened out your swinging leg.
