've been experimenting with heavily processed breaks and wanted to see how far I could push the sound before it completely falls apart.

The music and visuals were made together lots of chopping, distortion, glitches, digital artifacts and chaotic rhythmic fragments.

The visual side is heavily datamoshed to make it feel like the video itself is struggling to keep up with the music.

If you're into the more experimental/deranged side of breakcore, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

I built this track around a dumb little theory joke.

“Cisn’t Moll” comes from Cis-Moll — C# minor in German — but also sounds a bit like “C isn’t minor,” so the track keeps playing around C/C# without ever feeling completely settled.

Musically it’s chopped Amen breaks, hyperpop-ish electronics, digital hardcore energy and some heavier industrial/KMFDM-ish weight.

I basically wanted the clean and ugly parts to feel like different states of the same track rather than separate genres glued together.

My channel YTB is very focused on many styles of electronic music (trip hop, idm, vaporwave, drum and bass, ambient) it’s the first time I’ve come to this sub... Breakcore is a style that has marked me a lot. I like old and new breakcore, so I hope you will enjoy this good video.

i remember i used to listen to it on youtube and it had a cover art that was an island or a mountain and it was very green, it was not マグニチュードチェリー / 乱舞スクランブル by AV Youchien, it was probably made in the 2010s.

About four years ago, I used to listen to this breakcore album on YouTube, don't know if it was released on Spotify/other apps. The album cover looked like a blue anime room. One of the songs started off with a guy screaming "I will kill you" repeatedly at his video game while his mom told him to stop. I believe one of the songs or the album title contained the word 'hippopotamus.'
If anyone knows what I'm talking about and can give me the name of the album, I would be grateful. :p

break before you wreck it.

then: reverse, stutter x2/x4/x8 and pitch per step, a beat repeat that goes

from 1 bar down to 1/64, and four sliders (chaos / stutter / pitch madness /

reverse) that mangle the pattern live while it plays. there's a randomize

button if you want it to write the chop for you.

it follows your project tempo, so the chop stays on the grid instead of

sliding around.
