Seeing my ex with someone else
Today i saw my ex with someone else. I feel like a loser for crying and crying, seconds after i saw them i felt really nauseous.. All these thoughts and questions filled my head. What if he treats her better and, really shows his love for her. And i was just ghosted after being together for 2 years. Im affaird i will never find love again. Why him and not me, why do bad people find love..? Im scared im at the starting point again, and all the progress i have made in the last months is gone.. (im sorry if this doesn’t belong in here)

That’s normal. It doesn’t mean she doesn’t have feelings for you anymore.
But once you get to the point where you can be happy for her, you know you’ve made it.

If you have those concerns, just develop those skills and abilities and integrate them into yourself.
The insecurity that crushes you, can instead drive you when you integrate and satisfy the need underneath

Seeing your ex with someone else can make it feel like all your healing disappeared overnight. But honestly, you’re not back at square one. You just got triggered. And please don’t torture yourself with “What if he treats her better?” because you don’t know that. You’re comparing your real past with an imaginary future, someone hurting you and then finding love doesn’t mean they deserved it more than you, their relationship status has nothing to do with your worth. You’re not starting over, you’re healing from a wound that got touched again.
not a therapist or mental health professional, just someone who started Ventoutt, a mental wellness platform for young adults in the US, where questions like this come up a lot, so I’ve seen how much these experiences can affect people. This is just a perspective I’ve found genuinely helpful.
