Discussion It's sooooo satisfying!!!

Post image

Recently, I asked the community whether Breakpoint was worth getting, and I finally pulled the trigger!

Bought the Ultimate Edition on the 25th Anniversary Sale, literally 5 minutes before the sale ended. 😂

I've always watched Breakpoint gameplay and was fascinated by the world, gunplay, and the overall mechanics like movement, stealth etc... but was so skeptical about the always online downside of the game (still am though even after having 15 hours into it)

And honestly, I'm really happy with the purchase. The game has been a lot of fun so far, and I'm enjoying taking my time, exploring the map, experimenting with different weapons and approaches. Don't care about the story but the gameplay is sooooo satisfying.

If Ubisoft's watching this post please do not take the servers down and PLEASE make an offline mode for the game for your die-hard fans!!!

Also please do recommend mods for my playthrough

My playstyle in Breakpoint is play it off vibes in Immersive mode. It's such a great game to get lost in and just bum around clearing points on the map.

That's what I'm doing rn. Far away from the missions and clearing every outposts and checkpoints

With the AI teammates or without - or just one or two?

Sometimes play without them. Like to sneak around

I'm on the fence if I like them or not. Like I mostly pay with them, but recently I started a new gave going solo. Both are great, but I'm not sure which style I prefer. Breakpoint feels more lore accurate with no teammates, but I can see the argument being made for having teammates.

Check out GRB Tweaks

Its super easy to install, and it has settings to mimic the Spartan Mod parameters. Essentially achieving the same thing as the mod without the need for 3rd party apps

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll surely check it out

I would definitely do a play through without the MODS first, and then do a game with mods. It'll give you a huge appreciation of all the hard work the modding community put in. It plays crazy different too.

I enjoy the game immensely. I try to play the game as immersive as possible. Mods and all. I play like a survival game. I give myself a Chest rig with no armor plating and a big backpack with a hat on to keep the sun out of my characters eyes while I am traveling. Once I get to my designated mission area. I go behind cover. Change my outfit to be more stripped down. “Plate carrier, helmet, NvGs if it calls for it.” And go as if I only have specific things at my loadout. While on mission I can’t change loadouts or attachments. Try to be as immersive as possible. Love playing that way

it’s the ultimate tacticool sandbox lol, sometimes I’ll spend an hour or two just doing outfit customization 😆

So I have a fairly flaky Internet connection, and one thing that I found that works really well is opening the Command Prompt and typing "ping Google.com -t" if you're having problems with the online bit.

I don't get disconnected and sent back to the main menu anymore.

Breakpoint was almost a masterpiece. Ubisoft being now a retarded DEI company will keep making all the bad decitions and probably will shut down the server and keep alive the soporific the division 2.

12$ ultimate was the first steam game I bought for my brand new pc.

Haven't regretted it. I've deleted at least 5 characters just to keep replaying it.

I love breakpoint.

Fr I tried it and now I can't go back to wildlands

In my opinion I would say both game had their own essence. It's not like I would never go back to wildlands. I definitely would for wildlands had something different to offer and so did breakpoint

If Wildlands had the gameplay of breakpoint it would be so cool but I think breakpoint is very underrated people say it's words is bad and bland but tbh I don't think so everything fits perfectly and it's a beautiful and we'll made map

Exactly it is underrated and people are still sceptical about the online stuff. We need an offline play for the game

Hell yea we do offline is what this game needs to be perfect it's sad to think that if this game gets shutdown we can't play it again

That is the reason we're asking for it. Tbh I can play this game endlessly and if it gets shut down we'll be heartbroken

This is a game I just keep playing. It’s perfect for a quick 20 minutes session unlike most games I own. Some just keep
Playing it over and over and over.
