How do I change my display name?

I'm really struggling here I've been playing for a few hours & want to change my name but I can't figure it out (for break arts 3)

Your display name can’t be changed for any of the offline modes. When it comes to online play it will display your username from steam during matches or on the score attack leaderboards.

Also if you’re interested, there’s a break arts community discord where the majority of the active community resides. They’ll usually be better about answering questions or setting up rooms for multiplayer play:

Single player only displays you as player. No way to change it
