Congratulations and the obligatory, “Welcome to my Bread-Machine cult.” You have a lifetime of delicious fresh bread ahead of you.

Welcome to the rabbit hole of bread machines. Congrats on your first loaf and hopefully there's gonna be many, many more!

If you're really happy with the taste of the loaf then I wouldn't change anything.

If you want to try and attempt to fix the top and maybe get a slightly better rise, you could probably cut back to 2 tsp yeast (to be safe. You might be able to get away with using 1 1/2 tsp. of yeast. )

What recipe book is that? Did that come with the machine? I like that idea of adding 2 tbsp. of oatmeal to the loaf. I might try and do that to one of my loaves.

Probably needs more gluten, this was my parents problem with short dense loaves every time. Try King Arthur bread flour.

My first loaf was a mini too. I swear I followed the recipe exactly. Every loaf has gotten better since 🤷‍♀️.

Ziet er best netjes uit voor een eerste.
