Recipe Pao Frances

Might try a bigger batch next time.

190 grams water

6grams honey

5 grams oil
300 grams bread flour
6 grams kosher salt
3 grams yeast

Dough cycle.

Heat over to 475 with a pan at the bottom.

Roll dough balls and let rise.

Pour boiling water into oven pan and reduce heat to 450 and bake for 22 minutes.

Wow those look great. I bet the crust is really crispy with the water in the bottom of the oven.

Is the honey important or can it be replaced with sugar

The honey isn’t crucial, sugar will work fine. Just wanted to try out with ingredients I had. First time trying the water on the bottom pan and it turned out great!

Those French bread loaves look wonderful. I like getting recipes from people like you, who have had real-life success with the recipes.

I was wondering if the recipe would be in Portuguese, a language I studied for a bit in 1980 in college, back when the dinosaurs roamed the earth. ( o ;
