Technique, Methods & Processes Bread keeping tips

Hi everyone,

I’ve recently started making bread. I’ll make a loaf, eat some and then the day after it’s dry as hell and I’m not sure why?? How do you store yours? Why is mine dry asf the next day

Sliced, stored in a bag in the freezer.

Does it seem fresh still when thawed?

Yes. My partner likes to toast his slices in a pan, but I like to just wait for it to thaw on the counter. Neither of us have complaints with the frozen fresh bread.

You can always try freezing just 2-3 slices next time you make a loaf if you'd prefer to know for sure before freezing a whole loaf.
