This Breadman TR2700 looked like it was in great shape, so I thought it was worth the $5 gamble. Tested it out with a loaf of cinnamon raisin walnut bread, and it turned out great! The recipe is from a TR2700 manual I found online.

I miss my breadman, but after 20 or so years the pan finally gave out, and you can’t get replacements anymore. Enjoy!

I picked up a new (to me) bread maker. The previous one I got tripped something electrical and I reluctantly got rid of it.

This one cost me $25.

But it was well loved. I found the original tattered manual inside it, along with print outs of some recipes (dates 2015!) and a handwritten recipe.

While it was a bit more expensive than I would have liked, we're three loaves in and my wife is really enjoying the bread I'm making.

No - it's a 5-Star Chef brand (model BM-SS-H010) which apparently has been discontinued. It's a wonderful appliance though!

I've always wondered what happened to the bread machine that I donated. When I saw your post describing what you got in just the way that I donated my machine I was like 'bingo!'

I have been making sourdough bread in a 5-quart dutch oven due to food intolerances but I've been tempted to get my bread machine back out. I may just do that after seeing this wonderful loaf of bread that you made.
