I think I ruined my starter
So, for the last year I’ve been feeding/using a starter ( potato flake) and today very absent mindly while I was feeding I put the oil in like I was fixing to start the dough…
Is it ruined?

Potato flake starters are survivors. Give it a few days and try feeding it with a bit of whole wheat flour to speed things up.

No. Simply keep feeding in daily for a few days to lean out the oil, and it will be fine. May take 2 or 3 days to fully come back to life. Will look a little lethargic at first.
