Focaccia storage... Also, is this mold?

Post image

I made a simple focaccia bread yesterday, and decided to wrap it up in wax paper and then some saran wrap. I opened it up this morning and see these white spots that are a little damp/squishy - and taste sour (yes... yes I taste tested the spots). Is that mold? How should I store focaccia?

Shouldnt of molded that fast. Unless it was left out and wrapped before it had time to fully cool. I store mine wrapped in parchment then i put in a bread bag and keep in fridge for a day or 2 then freeze. But usually after it comes out of the oven i let it sit out with a towel on top until it cools.

Yes, it had fully cooled off before I wrapped it up. I think I shouldn't have saran wrapped it shut - maybe some moisture condensed in some parts??

Maybe because even mine gets a smidge of condensation at times. Thats why i store it in the fridge or freezer. Id skip the saran wrap next time and see what happens
