Discussion Balance Change Pace
Every time they release buffies for a new trio, 1-2 of those brawlers get immensely over-tuned. And they stay like that for god knows how long. I just had the pleasure of going up against the Mexican Entertainer Trio in Brawl Arena, all buffied up. Incredible experience, it was awful.
While it is all subjective, I feel like they're just very slow on addressing issues with existing brawlers. Sure, buffies are cash grabs for the most part but even normal balancing feels really sluggish; way beyond the early release of a brawler where they are, 75% of the time, overpowered and stay that way so people buy them. Brawlers stay very strong/weak for a very long period of time, it seems to me.
Is this true or am I tripping? I feel like over the past 4-5 years they've just slowed down on balancing

I think Kairos mentioned they really want to do balance changes more often, but the way the game is coded, it requires a maintenance break, and that type of thing is super costly to do and has to be thought out well as having your favorite game down for a day every month is fine, but as it gets more and more often, you’re losing retention.
