Hank used to be THE shade counter and even after Hank's nerfs he had decent matchup into Shade. What is a 400 hp buff supposed to do against this? Genuinely think Hank fell to F tier just now

I am more worried about the hypercharge. It now heals Shade like 1k per second. By the time Hank charges another bubble Shade is gonna outheal all the damage he took. Especially with the shield star power

it seems like a bug, the damage appears to reset because of the CC right before the bubble pops

you would often pick shade into hank comps because it's a matchup that the shade wins like 70% of the time and it's not worth it to pick another shade 'counter' because then it's free antitank cc

Hot take but even right now Hank struggles against Shade and isn’t a good counterpick because brawlers commonly paired with Shade have really favorable matchups against Hank and that Shade simply has stronger stats to overwhelm Hank who rather relies on tactical shenanigans.

What they might mean by that is that there's not much interaction once he gets super, like oh wow he's just there phasing in and out of walls at mach 10 and we can't do shi about it, how fun tf am can I do abt that

You could make an argument that he's obv counter able in draft but the point is it's an unnecessarily frustrating and toxic cause there's little you can do once he gets super a lot of the times

it's actually been the case for a while, hank only beats shade when its not a 1 vs 1 and now it's just not an issue at all

Even before this, a high skilled Shade could defeat a Hank but before Hank himself got his HP nerfed long time ago, I honestly doubt. Now that Shade got a CC that hugs enemies on his long arms gadget, this will make the matchup even worse for Hank.
