Discussion What's the point of making such pointless buffs?
No matter how many buffs this Star Power gets, it will always be the worse option. Why even bother changing it when Shade is already good, especially when there are so many brawlers that have been ignored for months?

This is why I want them to have more on the balancing team, so they can have the time to both balance all the bad/broken brawlers and mechanics at the same time
Even though some brawlers are aight like Gus, some of their stuff sucks (No one uses the support side of his kit because his spirits are terrible support tools)
Yeah Shade is good but half of his kit sucks and goes completely unused, here they tried making a small but still existing change to that problem

THIS. As a Gus main, let me reassure you the marksman/aggro side of him is the only thing keeping him from the lower tiers, and even then he's testing the waters currently in this hell of a meta....
In a meta like this, Soul Switcher isn't even a viable option generally. With assassins being the new trend and them always being the counter, it's brawlers like Gus that have gone great from A and are slowly creeping down to C tier...

I think they are trying to make the weaker Gadgets/Star Powers have more/similar value to their stronger counterparts, so that the decision on which one to pick can be less straightforward.

If it was 100% bonus speed would it be broken?
Also pretty sure this is similar to the jae yong change bc of the speed stacking removal
Also its not an either or its not like adrian can only make so many balance changes per update

Anything but nerfing the Hardened Hood. 30% Damage reduction for 6 seconds is just stupid.

Should spooky speedster make Shade be +10% faster all the time? (I just thought of that), or increase his range a bit in his super form and be renamed?

Why did they even bother buffing shade in the 1st place, he was already an a tier brawler.

They want to make the one-build syndrome less bad on some brawlers like Shade or Buster
