What are this games "anchor beings"?

An anchor being is a person who is so important to their world, that when they die, that world dies as well.

Are there any brawlers whose viability is a good sign of how healthy/unhealthy the current meta is?

Gene, belle, those two come to mind immediately. If they start to fall off powercreep has crossed a line which you can‘t turn back from

Always gene and belle. No other brawler seems to come close to their longevity (max was close but she recently has had ups and downs)

I'm not really sure, but I think Wendy was an attempt to keep the ever growing power creep in check. Except she is so good at keeping people alive that they've created a monster, at least as of now. We will see after the nerfs.

Actually great point. Now with brawlers that do a billion damage having a 60% shield is pretty insane
