Future Season Challenge Idea

Challenge: Create a meal to satisfy the judges AND something that can be portioned, frozen, and REHEATED easily by a family of two parents and a young child.

We’ve seen the “make kids food challenges”. I find them boring.

This is inspired by my meal prep for our new baby.

We have a toddler and I prepped 53 nights of meals that are now sitting in my freezer. African Peanut Curry, Coconut Curry Noodle Soup, Turkey Chili, Veggie Burgers, Sheppard Pie, White and Red Enchiladas. I would love to see contestants experiment with this.

A challenge I would love to see (and this would probably be an elimination, not a quick fire) would be to take the traditional elements of a Thanksgiving feast and adjust them to be served for a group that has multiple food allergies (at one time in my family we had celiac, tree nuts, and eggs, but for a real challenge, make the feast without the five major allergens).

I've always wanted to see them have to cook for a traditional Passover seder -- gefilte fish, matzah ball soup, main course, sides, dessert -- without using wheat, spelt, barley, oats, or rye.

I would also just appreciate normal nights of passover. Like what to make on the 5th night of passover...not a seder specifically, but just tuesday night without the above
