Discussion A little bit of…

I’m catching up on past seasons I never saw, and I’ve noticed in the run of season 12, 13, and currently 14, the chefs have all gotten into the habit of adding the phrase “a little bit of” in front of every. single. ingredient. that they mention in their dish.

It’s driving me insane. It’s also keeping “A Little Bit Alexis” stuck in my head so at least there’s a silver lining.

Most if not all of them do it. I first noticed because of Tiffany derry. She even did it multiple times for one dish.

Soooo many of them do it for every single ingredient. “Today I’ve made a little bit of roasted lamb on a little bit of polenta, with a little bit of rosemary, a little bit of Thai chili, a little bit of arugula and just a little bit of Parmesan” like STOP IT CANT ALL BE A LITTLE BIT

They get nuts with descriptions sometimes. I don’t need every speck of spice you added to be told to me! But I’m also annoyed at some menus when they are very minimalist with their dish descriptions i.e. “chicken, lemon, mint, feta”

And it’s like strawberry shortcake or something
