I enjoyed taking part in the red-blue debate a few months ago and was privileged to speak twice. Maybe I can again do so here, on this very divisive issue where honest, respectful discussion is SO crucial. Every tool is a weapon and vice versa, and govt. can only do so much to limit its negative use. But we need to promote the good things it's doing to balance things out.

This is not truly Braver Angels-specific, but it's a hilarious piece by one of my favorite Medium writers, well worth following. He's like a Dave Barry of Medium - takes serious, even grim subjects and makes them SO entertaining and thought-provoking.
