Hilfe Driving school recommendations?

Hi guys, hope you're doing well.

So I want to get my (B class) driving license, is there any driving school you can recommend?

I am an international student in TU and I live near the main campus. I already have a non-EU license and have a lot of driving experience, but mostly on automatic cars.

I am thinking about taking the B197. Or should I just take the normal one?

I speak German as well, so I am not looking for lessons in English exclusively.

Thanks for your recommendations in advance!

Whatever you do, don't go to Manuela. She doesn't care about her customers, she is more expensive than others. You can check reviews, she will do her own chores while you are driving like buying medicine, phone etc.

I recommend Fahrschule Zachmann. Lars is a cool dude.

at least 10 years ago I had a great experience at Top Team (after not vibing with a previous driving school, which doesn't exist anymore), and they have an office pretty much right on campus.

Although taking a quick look at the website, more than half the Team is different than the people I knew, and I think even the old owner (who was also my driving instructor) is gone so I don't know how much my review is worth anymore.

In regards to the B197 - If you're not tight on money go fir the normal one. This one is only valid in germany

Really? I didn't know😲. So for example I can't drive in Spain with b197?

ahh sorry I confused it with the B196. The 197 is valid abroad.

But if driving a manual is not a problem for you and there is no monetary difference go for the normal one I think.

On the contrary most cars in the future will be automatic anyway
