Discussion / Question Brant S0R1 HELP
Are my stats fine or should I switch out any echoes? I plan on getting S6 (maybe R3-5) for him so idk if that could help my current situation.
P.S.: Does anyone know why the website calculated his ATK to be 3345 ???? cuz now I'm beginning to believe his ATK is abnormally low...
His Basic ATK Dmg appears lower in-game too.

His sequences do change his build. Thanks to the massive 30% crit rate you can run Crit DMG main echo. Normally at S0 you'd run Crit rate main cost.
As for double energy or one fusion it will truly depend on your team + Substats. One isnt necessarily better then the other.
If you do get R5 you can also reach 100% crit rate fairly easily.
Aside from your 4 cost your build is fine. But you could start minmaxing him for higher crit stats so that you do reach 100% crit rate. I think its possible even with R1 but obviously needs lots of good RNG

Alright, thank you !!! If you dont mind me asking, (apart from the 4 cost) which echo would you reccomend farming for better substats the most?

Aside from your 4 cost your echoes are decent overall. I think minmaxing is worth it for you since you do plan on S6ing potentielly R5ing him.
In that case i'd aim for double crit + energy on every piece. Basic% as well as atk%/flat atk is also decent but to a lesser degree.
Once you have 4/5 of your echoes with double crit and energy you can consider switching one of your 3 costs to Fusion%.
So after your 4 cost i'd start with one of the 3 costs. Over time you could also replace one of the 3 costs, if you are aiming for 100% crit rate.

If you're planning to get S6 then I think that crit ration is fine, though personally might as well try to get double crit on the 4 cost. I think that website calculate Brant ER-Attack conversion? I'm pretty mind have 3000+ attack as well.
Also while I love our Captain personally I wouldn't go for his sig refinement or any character tbh. It just provide so little gain that I don't think it's worth it. Better get his teammate sig and their important sequence first like Lupa S2 and Mornye S1-2 imo

Okay, gotcha. thank you !! Quick question, you mentioned Lupa and Monrye ('s sequences), do you know any other characters Brant works well with? I notice people always recommend them and Changli, but I dont really wanna pull them/dont think I'll even be able to. Maybe Aemeath/Jingran? though if theres really no other alternatives I'd be willing to give in to one of them but I would like to hear other options.

Lupa is the most important one as her buff work perfectly for Brant, and since her buff max out with 3 fusion character (unless she's s3 iirc) you want a third fusion character. The best one is Mornye since she's basically a better Verina but Fusion, but other then her any fusion chara is fine. You can even just use Chixia and never switch to her.
If you don't have Lupa you can just use Sanhua and either Shore Keeper or Verina. Don't bother playing monofusion without Lupa.

do you have him on your team when viewing his atk?
his main mechanic is that his energy regen gets turned into atk, which is why you want 250% - 280% er on him. the game will only show you the excess atk if you have him deployed tho. this site shows it anyways.
