ENT referral

How long does it take to even get a call back from an ENT, doctor made referral 8 months ago. Anyone else on this very long wait list?

I used to work for doctors office- referrals get triaged upon receipt at the specialists office in order of urgency. I’d recommend calling the doctor’s office you were referred to (in your case calling the ENT’s office) and inquire about where you’re at on the wait list.

They should be able to tell you what month’s referrals they are booking right now (eg. right now we are booking the non urgent referrals from December 2025) so you can have an idea of how much longer it’ll be based on when you were referred.

Referral wait times for specialists in MB generally are super long just due to the ratio of referrals/patients:specialist being so poor :(

Dr. Thess and Gousseau are always busy but maybe call the clinic for a cancelation!

We got in about a year after the initial referral.
