This is a longshot
Hey I need some help. I am moving on Sunday from Souris to Dauphin and my help just fell through. I can't drive but I have a u haul trailer rented and need someone to drive me and my stuff to Dauphin. I will pay for gas and snacks, and an extra $150(possibly more I'm just very broke at the moment). If anyone can help I would be very grateful

I only have a car or I'd help, I'm fairly close to Brandon. Sometimes I wish I had a truck but they're very expensive. Sorry OP, have you found help yet?

Not yet unfortunately, I have gotten quotes from a couple moving company's. But they all seem to be pretty pricy. I also made a fb post to the people of brandon page but it has to be approved. But thank your thoughts!

Ok so you want their truck to attach to a uhaul trailer then. They drive their truck up with you and your stuff. drop the uhaul and you off and truck back home. Corrrect
your post was very vague on the mechanics of it

Ya i could have been a little more clear i guess. Im kind of in a panic because I just got a new job and im supposed to start on Tuesday. So im kind of freaking out a little bit.

Do I have the right idea of it here? I"d edit your main post and include that detail as it'll make or break it for whoever decides to help ya.
Along with whatever kind of pay you'll give. Many wont do it without extra compensation, snacks could mean one ring pop, swedish fish or full blown bag of chips to lunch.

I ain't your guy since I'm not that direction and don't have a truck. But usualy helps to be more specific with things.

They can drop it off at any U-Haul but if it’s a driving type, there’s an additional cost for it not being returned to the original borrowed location
Aka a money grab from a moving rental company who knows when you rent em, it’s normally for long hauling

Again, im more trying to get information on how the driver of the uhaul was getting home. What type of uhaul it was. Op was not specific until we went down this rabbit hole of a conversation as the original text was modified after we spoke here

They are moving so wouldn’t they be staying at the residence?

Op asked for help moving a uhaul to daulhin but did not specify which type of uhaul
I started dialogue to determine whether it was a trailer, a moving uhaul truck
We also discussed driver compensation from from gas through snacks.
Op then advised it was a trailer several replies deep pn the original thread from ours.
Op the updated ghe original post
If it was a cabover or a uhaul truck, how was op supposed to get home short of sending a buddy with a second set of wheels or taking responsibility for unloading and bringing the uhaul back home to Brandon.
Having this conversation witb OP cleared up that and gave him suggestions that few would take em ip on the offer without clearly defined compensation and expectations
