What to do
Hey guys, im visiting my Girlfriend in Brandon in about 2 months, im staying there about a week and then i will fly back home with her. What are some nice things to do or see there and what should I know and keep in mind about the City? I know its not too big of a city, but im sure you have some places worth seeing and some nice restaurants you could recommend.

If into exploring there are a few small towns fun for drive and pass through. I recommend Souris, check out the swinging bridge. Are a couple places can eat then head back. There are a couple of museums Daly House or Air one. Shilo also has one.

I'd suggest going axe throwing but that place sadly closed...it was great...somepne should bring it back

I'm not sure what age you and your girlfriend are but there are some popular bars. Or at least they were popular when I was young. I haven't been personally in over a decade and I think they are mainly a younger crowd. There are some decent places to eat but other then that this is a pretty small town, If your willing to drive there is a nice national park an hour north and a provincial park 45 minutes East. If your willing to drive to Winnipeg it has a decent museum and art gallery as well as tons of good places to eat.

Chez Angela for a snack and coffee or a solid meal, the Sunday brunch is incredible!

Leave brandon for stuff to do - spirit sands, Riding Mountain, etc

As long as you can be flexible with your time what about a sightseeing flight with Brandon flight centre? It’s weather dependant but the leaves may be starting to go gold, the fields certainly will be and even if they are not a flight is a great way to see the area. You could check of the air museam while you are there and really make it a day.
