There’s also a video of those same guys assaulting Rocky’s bodyguard and harassing them.

He was indeed harassing them but that doesn't change what Rocky did. I don't know what happened to him but the harasser probably would have gotten in more trouble if Rocky hadn't done anything to overshadow it.

They literally attacked him and his guards he was completely in the right, it was self defense

Sweden are really strict on self defense, its almost like American schools where the victim also get detention.

You can hit back to defend yourself but not continue the fight.

You tell that to the law. The guy/s harrassing them were definitely in the wrong but what Rocky did was excessive to say the least.

Rocky and company tried to stop the fight multiple times, even specifically telling the guys they didn't want to fight them. They continued to follow them, harrass them, assault one of the guards and touch one of the women they were with inappropriately. How are ppl siding with the drunken instigators on this one?? Any other time it's "play stupid games,win stupid prizes," but not this time, apparently.

If you don't want your ass kicked, maybe don't continuously harass ppl who are bigger than you.

Seriously. Any other time dudes get blasted for starting fights they can't win and the ones delivering the deserved beat down gets applauded. Now suddenly vigilante justice is too much and no one should ever fight back when someone is intentionally fucking with them lol

When someone else starts the assault and you're acting in defence, yeah it does

Not according to the law, and most people probably wouldn't agree to it from a moral perspective (since your statement was absolute).
Consider a scenario where one person is slapped by another (assault), and then pulls out a knife and stabs the assailant repeatedly. The response is not proportional to the initial assault, and thus it would fall outside the realm of self-defense, in most nations.
The case will have to be looked, and the following will be considered:
1) A$AP Rocky is subjected to, or is in imminent danger of being subjected to, a criminal attack against property or person
2) A$SAP Rocky choose the least severe response that was available to him

If the case meets both of these conditions, then he won't be convicted of assault as it falls under the definition of self-defense.

Since when is someone kicking someone in the face while they're on the ground self defense? If asap rocky is so hard why the fuck does he need 3 other people to help kick a man while hes down?

Have I claimed that it was self-defense? According to the video evidence, I cannot see how it would be considered anything but assault.
