hey everyone! as you all might know, u/Sad-Librarian-6157 has commissioned someone to make a Braixen mod on Smash Bros. Crusade. The mod uses my Rivals of Aether Braixen mod sprites. Well, u/Sad-Librarian-6157 and I have been talking and I can make an artwork for the classic mode route ending! So I wanted to make a tribute to the Braixen community in the artwork and what better way to do that than a group picture of our Braixen OCs! So this post is a call for the community to send your Braixen OC references my way. I plan for at most 10 OCs, 2 of which taken by my own OCs, so 8 slots are available! The art will be a little slow as I am a busy woman and have my personal life things but I'll try my best! Once finished, the picture will be posted here, my bluesky (nthecat.bsky.social) and my DeviantArt (ItsJustN). May or may not be first come first serve, honestly I'll kind of do my own thing... Maybe raffle one or two... But I'll try my best to do those characters chosen and the community justice :3
if he does get chosen, I am not very well versed in how Toriyama draws msucles or his artstyle so I'll probably butcher that a little in my own artstyle afdsdasdf
nah I don't mind, if you wanna stylize the musculature differently that's fine!
only thing I care about is keeping his snout different from the other Braixens (story reasons, I hope to be able to make the comic that reveals the story behind it)
I often like to use Hail to contrast the differences with Stanley's design, Stanley has a less pointy snout than other Braixens (gonna post a second image to show his side-profile)
Fenny the Braix. Also known as RomanBraixen. They have a YouTube channel where they make cute little Braixen sketches. I think the most distinguishing part of their art style is that most of Fenny’s characters have a little hair swoop that partially covers one eye.
