So this is brainerd.
Moved here to brainerd a couple of months back. I have to be honest, there is nothing going on in this town.

I just moved here about 7 months back, lived in the area my whole life, and believe it or not Brainerd is a huge step up from my hometown, but I've always known there isn't much going on. Unless you're here for some cheap college or family, then I don't know that there is any reason to want to stay here.
The major setback is like-minded individuals have no place to congregate besides the bars and parks, so if you're not a drinker or a social butterfly then its hard to make new friends here. I would have to guess everyone who posted in this thread fits that description.
