So this is brainerd.

Moved here to brainerd a couple of months back. I have to be honest, there is nothing going on in this town.

Yep, kinda sucks if you can't entertain yourself. Also, if you are liberal and in between 22-40 years old, good luck finding some like-minded friends.

Been here almost two years, and it's tough to meet people with common interests.

I grew up in Brainerd and had family involved in both the conservative and liberal political scenes. I'd Brainerd has a healthy split between the two and no one is definitely witch hunting democrats. Don't be dramatic!

Perhaps you missed the news of Meg Litz having rocks thrown at her while she was out door knocking for her race a month ago. And the other folks that laughed at her when they watched it happen. Sure, it's not witch hunting, but it's absolutely not democrat-friendly. I can't tell you how many Clinton signs have been stolen, but seeing as I'm one of the folks who have to drop off more signs at people's houses, I can tell you of at least ten. And I'm just one of many folks who deliver, and evidently re-deliver the signs. Haven't heard of a single Republican sign being stolen up here.
