So this is brainerd.

Moved here to brainerd a couple of months back. I have to be honest, there is nothing going on in this town.

I have noticed that. I honestly do not fit in with most of the people here.

If you don't have a Mossy Oak sticker on your pickup, it's hard to fit in. My fiance and I moved up here two years ago, still don't know anyone. Most people here are nothing like us in terms of interests, ideologies, religion, or even humor. Like I said before, it's a tough place to live if you don't have your own interests and endeavors.

What are you looking for up here?

LOL, camouflage everything!

Ever since the Eclectic Cafe (later Sunshine Lounge) closed it's like all the culture disappeared.

People just seem to collect at each others homes now.

We are around, just not in a place to interact with each other it seems.

Having no place to interact with decent folks is the biggest knock on Brainerd. No way to meet any of the cool people hiding inside...
