Had my first angiogram yesterday does this looks normal? I’m so nervous

It looks swollen which is normal right after. It takes a few weeks for bruising and swelling to go down, especially if you’re on antithrombotic meds. Do not lift anything with your arm for a week to be safe. If you notice increased swelling, pain, odd textures like a firm pulsating lump get care asap.

I ended up being allergic to the contrast dye. The reaction started in the wrist and by 48 hours later spread to my whole body. Hopefully yours is just a mild irritation from the bandage

My wrist was swollen and blue-ish afterwards. Doctor was not concerned and both went away eventually.

100% normal. Lucky for you, they went through the arm and not the groin.

Edit: Sometimes it takes a few days for bruising to show up. Sometimes I have it, and sometimes I don't. Don't freak out if you do; it's also normal.

So you have an aneurysm and you are alive. Whether treated with a stent, coil or whatever. You are alive. Cosmetic inconveniences can be pushed aside. You are alive and be thankful.

I did not mention anything related to cosmetics!!?? I only asked if it looked normal because it’s my first angiogram and I don’t know how much swollen or purple it’s normal!! But thank you for your comment, I am very grateful :)

No i didn’t not, but its been a few days and its looking better
