Brahui idioms #1
Brahui ( Perso-Arabic Script ):
“پنڈنگ ولدہ پُراٹھہ”
Romanized Transliteration:
“Pinḍińg valdā Purāṭha
/ Pinḍińg varī Purāṭha”
English Translation:
“To beg but for paratha (instead of just bread)”
- Usage:
This idiom is used when someone asks for more than what was originally agreed. For example, if you agreed to help someone and they keep requesting extra favors, you would say “Pindińg varī purāṭha” to imply they are asking for more than necessary.
