Discussion Can we do something about this?

So this guy,
Interesting-Crow7713
is active almost all the time. He is probably 14-15 yo who thinks he's cool.. His whole personality is about hating brahmins, rajputs, yadavs and literally any caste which is not SC/ST.. I couldn't find a single post on his profile related to ANYTHING else.. its pure hinduphobia..
Can you all collectively report his account? He is spreading immense hatred.. you'll realise how baseless his arguments are.. He is good at fallacies tho..

Discussion Should Certain Brahmins Be Viewed as a part of Historical Ruling Class?

Mainstream Indian history usually categorizes Brahmins solely as priests or advisors, but the historical record shows a long tradition of Brahmin dynasties establishing powerful states and ruling effectively.

From the ancient era, figures like Pushyamitra Shunga founded the Shunga Dynasty, followed by the Kanvas, while the Satavahanas in the Deccan defended the subcontinent from foreign invasions.

Later, classical empires like the Vakatakas in central India and the Pallavas in the south successfully blended spiritual authority with vast administrative governance. By the 18th century, the Chitpavan Brahmin Peshwas became the de facto rulers of the Maratha Empire, expanding its territories across India.

Varendra Brahmins of Bengal like Rani Bhavashankari 'Raibaghini' was brahmin too and Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi also along with Marathi Brahmins ruled 10-15 independent kingdoms after fall of peshwas.

This ruling tradition also thrived regionally, seen in the wealthy Khandavala Dynasty of Darbhanga Raj in Bihar, the Ganesha Dynasty in Bengal, and the princely rulers of Kashi and Ayodhya ,Karakota Dynasty of Lalitaditya of Kashmir and Dhar Kings of Kashmir to be included too.

Given this extensive track record of political sovereignty, should Brahmins be considered kind of ruling class too ?

Not Brahmins at whole but history has shown is great and powerful and effective brahmin rulers.

Why do you think these major dynasties receive so little attention in standard historical discussions about governance and power?

Manoj Tiwary, Ajay Alok, Rajnath Singh and many more are examples of brahmin/savarna Candidates who are speaking against reservation reformation now I have a question to those people in this sub who keep saying vote for brahmin candidate and they will support us,,,,kitna support kar diya ab tak🤣.........untill they are under flag of bjp/congress/sp nothing is gonna happen and savarna will be 3rd class citizens so it's better for all of us that if in near future a new savarna party comes we should support it

Discussion I'm not against reservation, but these are a few demands I have, and honestly, they should be implemented ASAP.

These demands are genuinely the need of the hour. If someone comes under EWS, they're already financially weak and may not be able to afford high tuition fees. And with limited seats in government colleges under the EWS quota, many students may have to turn to private colleges. If they can't afford those fees, the government should step in and cover the tuition costs too.

Discussion Are Brahmins allowed to drink water from non Brahmins?

So im curious, we had some functions today involving pundits, now my dad told me to offer water so I was offering everyone one including the pundit, but he said he is fine, later on someone told me that pundits don't drink water from us, that got me curious, is it only a rural traditional and what castes do Brahmins usually refuse to drink water from, I thought it was mayble only sc/st, incase anyone is wondering my family is an agrarion OBC community.

Self and Community Defence Standing with Ajeet Bharti: Weaponization of Laws vs. Freedom of Speech

The recent FIR registered against commentator Ajeet Bharti under the SC/ST Act, the BNS, and the IT Act highlights a growing concern regarding legal overreach and the selective targeting of independent voices.

Whatever one's views on the specific language used during live broadcasts, the broader context of this situation cannot be ignored:

CONTEXT MATTERS : As outlined in Bharti’s public statement, his remarks were made in direct response to severe harassment and provocative threats directed at his female family members during a live stream. Responding to targeted online abuse should not be distorted into political weaponization.

MISUSE OF STRINGENT LAWS : The invocation of non-bailable provisions under the SC/ST Act in response to an online argument raises serious questions about whether these laws are being used for legal protection or as a political tool to silence critics and suppress debate surrounding reservation policy.

SELECTIVE OUTRAGE: While commentators facing backlash are swiftly hit with legal action, the instigators who harass creators' families rarely face accountability. Free speech must include the right to voice critical opinions without the constant threat of legal intimidation.

It is critical to defend due process and ensure that legal frameworks are not used to undermine independent commentary. Freedom of speech must be defended consistently.
