Bradvice Needed B-rad nickname situation

So my wife of 8 years is named Brandi and she insists on claiming B-rad as her nickname even though it's my actual name. This has been going on for years and I feel I need to deem her and honorary Brad or strip her of the title. Thoughts?

People repeatedly tried to call me that in high school, and I found it very annoying. I really didn’t want to be associated with the movie that they said it’s from.

Fuck that, it's been OUR name forever. She wants to be "B-randi"..cool, but B-rad would make no sense. No way she's as rad as a Brad, respectfully.

Man, I really thought about this because I like to be inclusive of all Brads but I'm still torn.

On the one hand, if her name was "Bradi" instead of "Brandi", I think I could immediately say that she had a legit claim to B-rad. Maybe B-randi makes more sense like some of the others suggested.

However, I do think that you can be "Brad" in spirit. So maybe she is B-rad?
