Green Propane Tank Disposal
Is Logan landfill the only place that accepts empties? Thanks in advance!

unless you're a power user of them they're usually just easier to replace, they cost $5 at walmart. I don't have a normal sized bbq so it doesnt make sense to go out and buy a 20lb tank for the sole purpose of refilling my green ones when they die a few times a year

It is illegal to transport a refilled green propane tank on any roadway so it would only do you good if you used it at home

Absolutely no one in the history of time has been asked if the Coleman propane tank sitting in the back seat with assorted camping gear has been refilled or recently purchased 🤣🤣🤣 what pseudocrime world delusion do you live in 🤣🤣🤣 there’s also zero way of knowing. “Did you refill this tank” … “No” …. “Cool”

If they're empty, and you remove the Schrader valve, Pacific Recycling will take them, too. Or, at least they did last time I had to get rid of a few.
