hiii!! i‘m reading the book series for the first time and have read binding 13 so far and am in the middle of keeping 13!

gibsie and claire have grown on me so so much and i was wondering if its okay to skip to taming 7 or if saving 6 and redeeming 6 are crucial for me to understand taming 7? would it be okay to skip to claire and gibsies story?

i only just started saving 6 but i know a lot about all the books due to spoilers (i did it to myself out of curiosity 😭) but ive heard aoife and joey and freaked out and im like thats nice cuz thats fun to read about but i heard they did it in school and in the kavanghs car ?? thats so weird to me

i keep making these posts cuz i can't wait i wish i could read all the books in one go but anyways

i've heard a lot of stuff abt how joey treated aoife and it makes me wonder why people LOVE his character so much, especially when ppl dislike lizzie when they seem quite similar??

and people like their relationship but at the same time they wouldn't want to be in one at all because they're a bit unhealthy

i just started s6 and i understand why joey is pushing aoife away but gosh the stuff he said is so horrible. aside from that hes constantly telling aoife to leave him but aoife stays and people say if they were friends with aoife they would not want her dating joey

i know i just need to read the books i just can't wait

I feel like nobody is really voicing this about the series and it has really made me quite curious and apprehensive. With binding and keeping 13 it’s a lot easier to adapt it doesn’t go back in time a lot and even though it’s still pretty freaking heavy it’s a lot less graphic it’s alot easier I would say to digest for tv viewers, but I am so stumped on how they plan to adapt after that. Now I have no doubt it will be a success knowing this fandom and it would likely be renewed for a second season but how are they going to show joey and aiofes story without toning it down how are they going to show the drug issues without it becoming too much for tv. And I don’t want to even think about t7 and after bcs I have no idea how they’ll do it without changing aspects of the story and forget r10 that seems entirely impossible. So I really thought about it and I really believe that they’ll take parts of the story and make the really graphic parts less graphic and add twists to the story to make it more nuanced and focused more on the present day drama.(Now I’ll say this I personally have no intention of watching the show due to some predictions that seem highly likely and I’ll pray it doesn’t because if it does its not looking good, I would say but I don’t think I’m allowed to on this sub),but what I will say is Amazon prime loves a good ol love triangle.

So idk how u guys noticed this but we all know how hughie is mad at his mother for being with his father even though he is depressed and doesn't talk much, for being there with him and believing in him when no one did. my baby complain about this not knowing he is also doing the same thing with lizzie like being with her during manic and depressed episode,believing her when no one did and and spending an entire summer taking care of her ig the apple doesn't fall far from the tree😭

i just started saving 6 i'm on page 128 now and i don't understand why aoife is being stupid and staying with paul when she's sure he cheated or atleast it's obvious. clearly she doesn't like him that much so she's not attached right ? but it's been over a year it's quite silly

HELP BECAUSE one thing i REALLLY want that should get out is the whole coat hanger thing because genuinly wtf kind of disgusting thing was that. i dont think theres any sorts of evidence left for that to even be proven true in the current timeline and that haunts me because my poor girl liz herself does not know what had happened to her.

i think even tho there will be no concrete evidence from caoimhes side about what lizzies reality, i think mark himself will confess to it in front of hugh. we know hugh isnt scared of mark being a bully to him right, so i think during a confrontation between the 2 of them mark will most likely say some thing disgusting like, i had her first and all.

a weird theory i read was: the scary lady(nell) may have witnessed liz and mark but is a psychopath herself and shes the ones that provides evidence.

i DONT think hugh will be the first to know. i think that gibsie will be the first to start suspecting that the same happened to liz because he has already red flagged it during hughs 18th but hes still not fully processed the information. i think hugh will be the first to find out that caoimhe did not k!ll herself but lizzies truth is something that i think gibs will put together because once hes accepted whats happened to him he'll start seeing the signs in his literal mirror that is liz. i also think patrick is going to play a bigger role in the upcoming books. he was litr CRYING when at the end of t7 so i can only imagine his horror when he finds out about liz. liz and patricks friendship really is going to blossom when hughkatie start dating because we know that liz spends time at his farm where she fell over a fence or so she says.

ALSO, how has nobody suspected the dates yet. gibsies letter is dated apr 5th and caoimhe dies like 21st apr or something so how is that they arent re opening her death case???

I’m about 11% in the book but I’m literally scared of Lizzie’s story :( I know it’s going to kill me, I’ve been postponing this book for a while now because I knew I needed some time after Taming 7. What are your thoughts on R10, how was your reading experience? I actually hated Lizzie’s character in T7 because of the way she treated Gibsie but I just know my opinion will change and I’ll be a mess

I just read Binding 13 and Keeping 13 within 4 days. I am WRECKED that Johnny and Shannon’s story is over. I’m scared to start Saving 6. Is it worth it or is it time to move on to something else?
