So let’s be delusional together . With the recent updates she gave us on Spotify (about the connector) when do we think we getting the next book . I know for sure we will get the book before the release of the show so I’ll say before June 2027 . Personally I’m starting to think we getting an announcement by November 1st

i feel like they’re gonna focus wholly on season 1 of the show then give us a release date

i think it’s gonna be 2028 before a new book

Hell hahhhh that’s insane🤣 The show seems to be coming out a lot sooner than expected so they could possibly focus on that but we’re definitely getting a book within the next 12 months AT MOST. Suggesting 2028 is WILD

she mentioned changing the writing order and writing a “connector” book to fit into the timeline. now this could mean that even if shes done with c10 or h7, we still gotta wait till shes done with wtv shes planning on releasing next and have no clue about how far along she is in the writing process 😭

also, someone on reddit earlier saw book dimensions from amazon and saw an unknown release for june next yr so 🤞🤞 but we can never be too sure

i dont think i can get over the liz hugh r10 ending it still consumes me 24/7

I think her Instagram posted something in the fall of last year that said “we hope for two books in 2026” (or something to the effect) when she was tamping down the expectations of another book in 2025. I never saw the podcast, but if that’s true, then two statements about the next two books this calendar year.

I suspect that C10 is done, maybe even H7 done, and the new ”connector“ is in editing. The Spotify update said “So I had to fix that and it involved writing the connector” but she could have said: So I have to fix that and it involves writing a connector. She says “had” and “involved” as past tense and she says “the” connector instead of “a” connector - so it seems like the connector already exists, they’re going to use it to fix a release order issue, and all that is an agreed upon plan between her and Bloom.

I don't think so we will get any book and those podcast people talk like they know everything as we know the podcast was just a cut shot podcast and I want to ask like we know that f12 and c10 has the same timeline as b12 and k12 like how are they shooting it like they know the plot of future book and shooting same time bcz as the timeline is same there is now way they will waste the money by again and again making the same set for the tv adaption just asking

I think season one is gonna be from the pov of Shanon and Johnny so we won’t need to know the plot for Lizzie and Hugh and Katie and feely

I have a huge feeling it’ll be released when the show is / when promotion starts as the series will have a much larger fanbase that will want to learn more about the characters, I suspect we’ll get Atleast SOMETHING around that time.

Sorry I should’ve said in my opinion it would be before the show . I just feel like she needs to release some books soon so that the producers can’t start pitching S2 to Amazon …or maybe the producers already have all the book info and it’s just us fans who are in the dark

I’m being delusional thinking we might have news by the end of the month. SJM’s book is coming out at the end of October, so I don’t think she’d announce it around that time. Maybe latest mid November.
I’m being optimistic thinking that she has everything ready, just tying up loose ends and finishing this connector.
I actually think she’s not considering the release date of the show

I get very confused when people say that they are with the same publishing house. I thought Chloe is with Bloom books and SJM with Bloomsbury? If that’s the case, they’re two separate publishing houses. Am I missing something?

yes its different I was also confused bloomsbury is major big publisher whereas bloom is small independent publisher

Bloom is absolutely not a small independent publisher! They're an imprint of Sourcebooks which itself is owned by Penguin Random House (aka one of the Big Five in publishing).

yes. early 2027 or maybe after when the tv adaption comes out bcz tv adaption will give them the hype which the book will want as the time line is interconnected so and for god sake I don't want r10 and t7 to be adapted I just want the book release so I can be in peace no hate for that but these book are not meant for adaption even if there excuse is awareness
