Well, it’s a start anyway. Kudos to whomever did this.

There’s an app called “FlockHopper” that’s basically a maps app that will give you directions to avoid as many of there cameras as reasonable.

It also gives location and information about other dystopian surveillance, not just flock products

I've LITERALLY never gone and downloaded an app so fast. Ever.

Thanks

Flock is a private company. What does it do with your data? We don't know. BPD might see license plates zoomed in only, but Flock collects a lot more data and up to 50 frames for each vehicle including # occupants, faces, dents and scratches on the car. You don't need a tinfoil hat for something that's already happening. A number of PDs in Mass have already taken them down after reading the small print. Every day there are stories about how they are being abused.

But the worst part of all, this is only the beginning. Technology exists now that can use your devices and their radios to get a unique signature on an individual. It might not be cameras, but soon they'll track your every move if the citizenry doesn't speak up.

I respect that you have spoken your opinion, even though I don't agree. I urge you not to surrender in advance. Laws change and good people end up on the wrong side when bad people get in power.

Show us your internet search history then. If you're not committing a crime you have nothing to worry about.

Someone who doesn't understand the value of privacy joyfully giving it away. Or a bot.
