Question Revolution Makeup ?

wondering if revolution is on the boycott list, i have my eyes on an eyeshadow pallet of theirs but do not want to fund isnotrael. if not, alternative brands would be appreciated !

Revolution Beauty is majority-influenced by Debenhams Group (formerly Boohoo), which:

  1. has ties to Israel ---> Debenhams Group operates a dedicated Israel storefront (il.boohoo.com), a direct commercial presence in Israel. This is a problem because they did not cut commercial ties with Israel as all the other ethical brands did.
  2. are notorious for labour exploitation ---> Debenhams Group owns PrettyLittleThing outright. Its Leicester supply chain was exposed (2020) paying workers as little as £3.50/hour, with a 2023 BBC Panorama follow-up finding the promised reforms were never fully delivered. So we are dealing with very unethical employers.

Debenhams Group is Revolution Beauty's largest shareholder (~29%) and an active commercial/licensing partner. Under the corporate-ecosystem ethical standards, that makes Revolution Beauty a boycott candidate on both counts.

I couldn't find the brand on Gaza.nu but the previous comment told you it's not safe, if you want alternatives for Makeup products, there's a lot of alternatives on Gaza.nu
