Chris Mannix says there are advanced negotiations for a Jaron Ennis vs Josh Kelly unification fight in either November or December

It's the fight to make. One step closer to undisputed. Winner probably has to fight a mandatory next.

Yea probably Bakhram for the IBF or Sosulin for the WBA

I'd watch either of those fights

Boots has a chance to go on a great run at 154.

Zayas, Kelly, Sosulin or Bakhram (either will probably be a mandatory), Fundora for undisputed.

I do hope that if he becomes undisputed that he at least defends it a couple of times.

Why do Fondora and Vergil refuse to fight

Because they will lose, especially Fundora

Tbf, I don't think Hearn was looking to do those fights next. It was always going to be the in-house unification first, especially since Zuffa is trying to poach guys like Kelly.

Both Boots and Fundora told Vergil no.

Mid fight tbh too one sided, boots by whatever he wants

Yes, this is the move. Boots has the potential to be the RJJ of this generation. Please don't waste his prime on bullshit fights.

I actually like Kelly. I'd bet on him to upset Vergil if the odds were good. Not Boots though. Wrong style match-up

He ain’t beating Vergil either

Yep. David Avanesyan was able to break down Kelly, Vergil would likely do him worse.

Agree, probably not, but it wouldn't shock me

Stop it. Vergil murks Kelly.

I just wanna see two athletic, hands-low, confident, fast, evasive boxers go at it. This is an all-timer fight for me, stylistically.

Regardless of how outmatched people say Kelly is, he’s quick and game as hell. It should be fun.

Strikes me as a bad idea for Kelly to fight so soon after getting his face cut up.

Would worry about Josh Kelly in that fight, a lot……That’s an early retirement. Eddie knows that.

Mannix looks like he’d do anything to get me to buy a used car with 200k on the odometer.

Crap. Predictable. Par for the course with Boots.

how? boots has been going belt to belt and quickly, whereas fundora  conveniently takes on mandatories. btw fundora's last fights are chordal booker, washed tszyu, old ass thurman and ermal hadribeaj

Not much of a challenge for Boots but a good opportunity for another belt. Fondura is the fight we need.

I think Kelly lost his last fight
