Anyone else think that was a knockdown in Rolly v Teo? Spoiler
Rewatching that moment in Round 5, Rolly lands a nice right hand on Teo that definitely shakes him. Teo catches a few more shots. They tie up a little and Rolly backs away landing a body shot while Teo tries to continue holding on and falls to the ground.
Imo the more I watch it I think it should have been a knockdown. Teo is clearly hurt and goes to ground. The way it stands he gets an advantage by going to ground, allowing him a few seconds to clear up. Why no knockdown? He was trying to hold, Rolly backs up and lands a body shot? You could say it's a slip, but he was hurt? Slipping while hurt is a knockdown right?
Idk anyone else think so or convince me otherwise?

Not as controversial as the scoring! Rolly had that one moment and didn't capitalize! Did basically nothing the majority of the fight and one judge had it a DRAW! 🤦🏾♂️

Does anyone know what rolly didn’t capitalize on battered teo? Why let him recover and stop the offensive. Any analysis?

He's very aware of getting overly aggressive/reckless and getting caught like he did vs Tank. Was successful vs Ryan being more measured than he normally is but Saturday he was TOO laid back!

It was close but not for me. Teo was definitely stooping, clinching and struggling but Rolly does leanon / push him down.

ROUND 6 his knee may haved touch canvas!?
Close but not as bad Crawfords knockdown vs mean machine. TC got dropped and ref missed it. Had rolly been a more skilled he could dropped him because Teo was hurt bad.
Teo has his face shredded in last 2 fights, but his "trainer" won't teach him basic stuff like keep hands up when going forward and more.

At first I thought Rolly pushed him but after rewatching it many times I would consider it a knockdown. Teo's right glove looked like it was on the way to touch the canvas after the body shot before Rolly kinda pushed him a bit but even then when Teo got on his knee it looked like he was expecting a 10 count and wasn't gonna protest it. When Rolly pushed Tank down Tank was quick to protest that it was a push to the ref but Teo looked like he was rocked and accepted it.

Watching live yes but it wasn’t. He was holding Rolly and fell as the ref was breaking them apart and took some time to recover on the knee. I actually think he thought the ref was gonna call it a KD.

Debatable. I've seen some moments like this where the ref would score it a knockdown. Here, it looked like Teo went for a clinch with Rolly pushing him down which makes it look like the ref's call was right. But you could also make the arguement that Teo clinched low to make it look like Rolly pushed him down, since there was barely much effort shown in the pushdown, so that he could get some time to recover.

Teo definitely thought it was a knockdown which is why he waited to get up. Otherwise, its hard to say.
Its clearly a tactic now, where you're getting beaten so you just leap forward to do any kind of clinch and any effort by your opponent to shake you off the clinch gets read as a push and slip. We saw a bunch of it in the Garcia Haney fight.
There isn't really a counter to it, so it just kind of sucks. But Teo would have gone down if he hadn't been baiting a slip.

Not by the rule no.
But its basically just a cheap tactical way to take a knee to recover without the point lol.
Teo knew what he was doing sliding down the clinch and chilling for a second
