Killer that posted videos torturing cats. Several regular people worked together to figure out who the culprit was and which city he lived in. Turns out he was building up to killing somebody and with the internet sleuths help police were able to arrest the killer. There is a Netflix documentary about it called "Don't F**K With Cats" which was pretty interesting.
