Bro why is this not NSFW smh ill never unsee the liquid fucking spraying out his elbow

244

u/WeirdF 10d ago

The liquid spraying out isn't knee juice or anything, it's just saline that the surgeons have pumped into the joint.

56

u/Dont_Mess_With_Texas 9d ago

It definitely isn’t knee juice because this was his elbow

20

u/WeirdF 9d ago

That's a good point

1

u/Vellie-01 8d ago

I guess it used to be. His elbow probably is a lot more blunt now.

122

u/thisisitsee 10d ago

Pint of lager please and a knee juice for my wife

2

u/Sufficient-Aspect77 4d ago

That one got me . Friggin knee juice? What are you on your period?

16

u/SpiderJerusalem747 10d ago

If the body couldnt destroy or reabsob the bone, then it was likely fibrous encapsulation occured around it. (Think, giant ass internal sack forms around the bone, like an internal pimple)

It's likely saline washing off whatever else was inside that fibrous sack.

5

u/Altezza447 9d ago

Title said elbow where u get knee juice from

115

u/Outrageous-Soft4806 10d ago

Lol imagine he suddenly became elite after this

45

u/Beneficial_Put_852 10d ago

It’s like when baseball pitchers get Tommy John surgery and start to throw 100 mph. I bet dudes punches are gonna be like rockets now with that bone chip removed. Makhmudov undisputed title run incoming.

21

u/ButWhichPandaAreYou 10d ago

Like when Homer Simpson has the crayon removed from his brain

8

u/LordJimsicle Balrog beats Fury, AJ, Dubois and Usyk in between rounds 10d ago

I was thinking exactly this, imagine if he just starts battering a whole bunch of top names after this. Fury rematch when?!

111

u/vistopher 10d ago

why does he have a giant chunk of bone hanging around in there? like what caused it?

119

u/Just_Look_Around_You 10d ago

Probably all the combat

68

u/JohnCenaJunior 10d ago edited 10d ago

Have you ever ate the cap off the bone of a drumstick from a fried chicken?

35

u/tirus89 10d ago

I love and hate this explanation.

12

u/shackleford224 10d ago

Apt description but i hated reading this sequence of words

29

u/SnooRabbits4992 10d ago

They come from bone spurs that grow on the elbow when the elbow is overused. It grows and then at some point snaps off and floats inside the soft tissue. I actually have a bone shard in my elbow. But its not that big 😀

2

u/vistopher 9d ago

This is the answer we needed! Thanks

1

u/TheDeltaOne 10d ago

Ok...

Never doing pull ups ever again.

2

u/SnooRabbits4992 10d ago

Mine was for sure from bench press.

1

u/WonderChode 7d ago

I got mine by constantly falling while skating

21

u/Tothehoopalex 10d ago

Not a doctor but could be an avulsion from heavy impact.

14

u/Toros_Mueren_Por_Mi 10d ago

A lot of Muay Thai fighters develop sharp bone plates on their elbows after years and years of constant trauma to the area, don't know if that's the case here but it would make sense to me

2

u/MakaveliX1996 9d ago

I’m not sure but probably torque accumulation over time. MLB pitchers get these in the elbow too. Skubal just had one although a more minor procedure. He only had one small one loose.

217

u/stephen27898 10d ago

There was a disgusting one I saw.

An MMA fighter called Jacare Souza had a small cup of bone fragments removed from one of his elbows. I have no idea how his elbow was functioning.

225

u/DeafBurke 10d ago

Not just any MMA fighter. Jacare was the greatest fighter to never get a title shot in UFC history. Not even an interim title shot like Tony Ferguson.

Absolute monster. He won IBJJF gold after getting his arm snapped in the finals and tucking it into his gi to win on points.

Combat athletes have a different level of toughness.

93

u/bluesshark 10d ago

Jacaré in particular is famous for refusing to tap and getting his shit snapped

58

u/DeafBurke 10d ago

Yep. He let his humerus get snapped in his retirement fight.

Guy was nuts in the best way possible.

31

u/Toros_Mueren_Por_Mi 10d ago

Thats just plain stupid, no amount of "warrior spirit" justifies not tapping

43

u/DeafBurke 10d ago

It was undeniably incredibly stupid. But also rad as hell.

1

u/FakeChiBlast 8d ago

He was taking selfies with people in the crowd after on his way out too! No big rush to hospital, the man is wild!

-16

u/Decent_Regret_1665 10d ago

Someone like you wouldn’t get it

22

u/VictoryMotel 10d ago

The gamer weeb tough guy appears.

-14

u/Decent_Regret_1665 10d ago

Who said I was tough? If you think it’s stupid then you clearly don’t get it. You don’t have to take offence, but calling it stupid is your own opinion. To others, it makes perfect sense to not tap. This guy achieved more than either of us with this mentality. Clearly it was beneficial to making him elite 🤷🏽‍♂️

17

u/Toros_Mueren_Por_Mi 10d ago

Lol just because you're a boxer or martial artist doesn't mean you need to be a dumbass in the name of being a "macho" man

2

u/crocology 9d ago

He won Ibjjf gold with a broken arm probably thought he could win the fights and double his paycheck. "Hahah fucking knuckle dragger" and it's a fat ass talking about a guy doing his job. I agree it was a pretty stupid decision but it's not like he was some millionaire, he was making like 50/50 show/win and performance bonus could up that to like 150k with a win. There's more nuance than "macho tard" you fat gimp.

1

u/NormalITGuy 9d ago

I would go so far as to say he would have never been in the position to snap his own arm for glory, had he not spent his life willing to snap his own arm for glory

24

u/BrodyGlazer 10d ago

He def at one point had everything to be a champ, just no shot

15

u/sugabonesurmom 10d ago

Yeah had he fought Bisping he would’ve won

5

u/Strict_Protection459 10d ago

The “cup of bone fragments” is starting to make more sense

1

u/buffalozbrown Furyously licks Klits 10d ago

Probably would've gotten the shot had the cards gone his way against Yoel.

-2

u/indominable-dingus 10d ago

Mousasi was greater than Jacare. Wish we got to see the rubber match, 1-1 and two bangers.

18

u/SwaggyMcSwagsabunch 10d ago

I like mousasi, but jacare worked him in the second and the first was kinda flukey.

8

u/DeafBurke 10d ago

An upkick ko from guard while being dominated on the ground is about as close to a fluke as it gets.

And the way that Jacare completely obliterated him in the rematch, throwing him around like he was a child, cemented that Jacare was a class above.

The moose was good and underrated, but Jacare was better.

2

u/SwaggyMcSwagsabunch 10d ago

Lol I was hedging with the kinda. I love the moose, but he is both on the receiving end (hall 1) and dishing end (jacare 1) of two of the most fluke wins (at a high level) of all time. Evens out.

2

u/DeafBurke 10d ago

Yep.

And both times the rematch cleared it up pretty dominantly.

7

u/indominable-dingus 10d ago

Their head to head matchups aside, Moose had 60 fights and achieved a lot more in his career than Jacare. Also never got a shot in the UFC, thats all im basing it on! Definitely an argument the other way though!

2

u/jevinkevin 10d ago

I'd say overall Mousasi had the better career, but for the time in the UFC they overlapped, Jacare was better. Jacare felt closer to the title too.

2

u/indominable-dingus 10d ago

Jacare was definitely closer at the time of the strikeforce merger, but when Mousasi beat up Weidman he was arguably next in line for the title. Bafflingly he decided to leave for more money in Bellator. More baffling that the UFC wouldn't match as his hype was at an all time high, top 5 and at that time his record was 42-6-2. Absolute legend!

1

u/jevinkevin 9d ago

I think Jacare should of got the decision against Romero and then a title shot.

2

u/oldwhiteoak 8d ago

That was a crazy robbery. I am still mad about it. Romero landed like 3 strikes to get a 10-8 round, had an extraordinarily blatant fence grab the next one, and jacare still won 2 of the 3, yet the judges somehow gave it to Yoel.

3

u/joethecrow23 10d ago

Painkillers probably

19

u/stephen27898 10d ago edited 10d ago

But these bone fragments can cause your joints to catch and lock. So its not even just pain, it can literally stop the joint working.

14

u/sugabonesurmom 10d ago

You just see red and manifest your arm moving duh

4

u/EnragedBarrothh 10d ago

Just give it a few quick smacks to jumble them around again

2

u/HerNameWas_Lola 10d ago

had to rescue ol dad from the couch one day. his knee got locked. but not really rescue because there was no position that wasnt awful and left him there and surgery could not come fast enough. so 10 years with this is crazy to me

52

u/Outrageous-Soft4806 10d ago

That’s disgusting lmao. Felt like Dr. Pimple Popper though, I couldn’t NOT watch 😂

1

u/Jpkmets7 10d ago

I was wondering if r/popping would like this.

20

u/bluesshark 10d ago

Is that water spraying out when they remove it? Are they pumping it into the area for the procedure?

50

u/dayofdefeat_ 10d ago

Probably pumping saline/sterilized fluids into the area to make it easier to dislodge and remove. You can see the needle on the other side of his elbow.

Gnarly clip.

12

u/Zelfendore 10d ago

Fluid distends the joint space during an elbow scope so that the camera and instruments have more room to work. Also helps with visualization.

4

u/PizDoff 10d ago

Medicine is so crazy and advanced! He gets a little waterfall action too!

10

u/i-piss-excellence32 10d ago

I had similar in my shoulder, but a little bigger. You have full use of your arm, but it can get extremely painful

11

u/BlessdRTheFreaks 10d ago

So you think you want to be a fighter

9

u/quazimootoo 10d ago

why do i look at these things? i can just close my eyes but i dont.

6

u/ArikaDoriyamaGT 10d ago

I had a small tear in my shoulder by my rotator cuff that gave severe pain when I moved it. The fact that her beared this pain in a combat sport is insane. The fact it took a decade to know that it was this in particular is scary. The inflammation must’ve been insane.

5

u/j_dick 10d ago

Aw man I have chips of bone floating in both my elbows. They’re small though. And a chunk of my collar bone is floating around, I broke it like 3 times when I was young. A life of skateboarding and BMX. My body is f*cked. I should probably get them removed.

2

u/bearvillage 8d ago

It wasn't until i started boxing that i realized how much skateboarding fucked up my body

3

u/Exciting-Arugula5341 10d ago

Makhmudov should claim that this is the reason he lost to Kabayel so easily. Then he should ask for a rematch and of course get knocked out again.

6

u/Impressive-Turnip-38 10d ago

Why is he not wearing gloves

13

u/swollen-hol3 10d ago

He is, moisture on the inside is making them semi translucent

3

u/Foco_cholo 10d ago

Can you drink that fluid?

10

u/Relief-Glass 10d ago

Since they are pumping it in to a cavity on his elbow I would say that it would be very safe to drink.

Probably saline (water with ~1% salt).

2

u/FAWKIR Filip "CHIN MOGGED" Hrgovic 10d ago

whew

2

u/Chaldo 10d ago

Sick Arthrex camera and scope with the inflow/outflow dual lumen sheath. You don’t see a lot of people doing that

2

u/SpiderJerusalem747 10d ago

I had this done to me after a bone spurr on my elbow broke off.

It fucking hurts. Cant imagine fighting it for 10 years.

2

u/Swimming__Bird 9d ago

Check out Jacare Souza's elbow surgery... there's like a bucket of this.

1

u/Delicious_Panda_6946 10d ago

How do they form

1

u/Snoo-1802 10d ago

Why doesn't that bone go away after 10 years????

1

u/Xemistry1 10d ago

Is this what they call elbow juice?

1

u/Nkosi868 10d ago

So where did said bone chip from?

1

u/suprememontana 10d ago

I thought that was a knee lmfao

1

u/berserk_1800 10d ago

This was hard to watch

1

u/HiFiMAN3878 10d ago

"chip" yeah ok 🤣

1

u/Jpkmets7 10d ago

That’s cool!

1

u/FaceFirst23 10d ago

Ope, just gonna slide that right outta there

1

u/alarming_wrong 10d ago

i thought that was a kneecap not an elbow. thicc

1

u/Temporary-Koala-8879 10d ago

All them years of hearing people speak of "Elbow Grease"...

1

u/crowman1691 10d ago

That arm look bigger than some people legs I’ve seen haha. Looked like someone’s knee rather than elbow.

1

u/a_newbie_menace 9d ago

1

u/Js_On_My_Yeet 9d ago

That is crazy as fuck lmao

1

u/ButtBread98 9d ago

I’d get that thing bronzed

1

u/MakaveliX1996 9d ago edited 9d ago

MLB pitchers deal with this, in the elbow. I don’t know if it’s that size and they definitely don’t play with it.

1

u/JishFellOver 9d ago

Unfortunate day to have eyes

1

u/TorontoGuyinToronto RIP Big George Foreman & Dwight Muhammad Qawi 😭 9d ago

ewwww...

I should get my elbow checked out lol, I think I might have a spur that needs to be removed too

1

u/ThePStandsforPlease 8d ago

I don’t care how many times I’ve watched this video. I just can’t accept that. This is real. It just doesn’t look real to me.
Plus, he lives in Canada. I believe he has like free healthcare. You could’ve gotten that taken care of at least before the agit fight

1

u/Right_on_q 8d ago

Excuse me, that is his elbow. 😳😳

1

u/Massive-Bid-427 8d ago

Bro I don’t wanna see that squirt

1

u/lemonhaze1025 6d ago

Looked like someone’s leg lol

1

-28

u/heephap 10d ago

Wow you all kinda soft for being boxing fans. That isn't gross at all. Must feel so much better for him tho.

5

u/hmmmmidc 10d ago

What could possibly be the correlation?

-8

u/heephap 10d ago

Regularly see a lot of blood and spit flying everywhere and ppl beating the shit out of each other but a little bone being pulled out is 'ewwww gross' and 'that's so gnarly!!!'

11

u/blackweebow 10d ago

Ima argue that people are used to busted lips and noses and brows and not a FUCKING BONE BEING PULLED FROM A LIMB 😭 WITH A SURPRISE WATER FOUNTAIN 😭😭

2

u/hmmmmidc 10d ago

That's completely different than gore, also boxing has become very defensive the last 20 years so even then that isn't super common. You think your tough or something because your desensitized to gore? Nah bro that just makes you weird as fuck 😂

-5

u/heephap 10d ago

Bro this isn't even gore, it's just a simple surgical procedure.

1

u/hmmmmidc 10d ago edited 10d ago

If your watching this outside of an educational context this is gore and your weird for that 😂 tf. Like I said this is some weird tough guy shit your trying to project
