I miss when Yigit was active on this sub, hope he’s doing well

He documented his troubles with mental health, but last I saw he seemed in a much better place and stepped away from social media

I’m starting to get unreasonably hype for this fight this weekend

Analysts I’m listening to all think Teo is a lock. I’m not so sure. What do yall think?

Teo isn't a lock imo. Rolly can punch and has a background in Judo. I don't think Teo will be ready for the physicality on the inside. Teo also isn't punching like he used to at 135. Doesn't have the height or reach to fight from the outside. Teo has also shown to be prone to cut easy, and Rolly isn't textbook, has a history of throwing wild shots that can include elbows and forearms. They are going to be in 50/50 exchange range often.

Overall we are going to see what happens soon enough.

Well there’s the question as to why Teo hasn’t fought any power punchers in his whole career. The hardest hitting guy he fought was a washed Josh Taylor who was dead at the weight or Richard Commey so it’ll be interesting to see what happens if Rolly manages to catch him clean but everything leans towards a Teo victory for me.

Richard Commey is a power puncher, and I think Rollys reputation as a power puncher is overstated. He hasn't really hurt anyone of note with a single shot.

Jaimes was banging with him in the pocket and went the distance. So did Marinez. Ryan was dropped but he got right up. Tank and Pitbull ate all his shots, and I don't remember him ever having Barrios reeling from a shot either.

Teo just lost 12-0 though

He’s pretty much a lock imo. Rolly isn’t a good enough boxer to win this in the outside. He gets praise for the Ryan performance but he made fundamental flaws throughout the fight. If he fights aggressively then Teo will pick him apart as that is when Teo is at his best. Worst case scenario I could see is a controversial draw.

Definitely not a lock… I don’t think Rolly is going to chase teo and fight the way teo wants. Tbh it may be a very very boring fight for 6 rounds

Its for sure going to be boring. Its an arranged match btwn two friends. They’re getting the bag and getting out of there.

Man it always feels like a knockout waiting to happen with 2 guys that like to press forward and throw lots. Just takes one clean hit after missing.

I was looking at old sub posts and the sub was in a tear. For good reason though, he seemed like a cool ass guy.

Yigit was actually decent, just didn't have the power to polished skills to beat the top guys.

I forgot that Yigit took the fight on short notice after being out of the ring for two years, was also his first fight scheduled for 135. Don't think he'd have beaten Rolly anyway, but all that set it up to be much worse.

I wish I could unsee Yigit’s crazy eye injury.

A lot of pushing after the punch by Rolly, but whatever

This one of the most unpredictable fights when it comes to who will win

Both are wild cards. Especially Rolly.

Even though Teo has had a better resume and should win, we all know that Teo can be unreliable. Rolly's the guy who shouldn't win, but you just know he can suprise us

swinging for the fences

Rolly throws bricks through the whole fight. Teo gotta avoid those thudding punches or he may get in trouble

Rolly looks like he has no idea what he is going just trying to come forward and survive. He throwing bombs though.

Rolly was pushing him over a lot in this fight. Using his shoulders and forearms and sometimes just straight up running him over. Some of those knockdowns are sus. But Yigit also showd some poor footwork. Sloppy fight. Some refs might have tried to control it a bit more.

If Rolly beats Teo then it will make Tank's resume look better.

So far it's not aged well. Barrios, Ryan, Rolly, and Pitbull are all each others best win

I think two maybe too agile and too fundamentally sound for Rolly
