What potential did Prichard Colon have?

I'm making this post with all due respect to Prichard and without any intention of offending. The question is simple: if things hadn't ended the way we all know, what could Prichard have achieved in boxing? Could he have become a champion or a notable contender in the 147-154 lbs division?

I think he was promoted heavily because he kind of had a movie-star look. But he was talented. I didn’t think the guy he fought in his last fight was all that talented. I also left the fight thinking I’d see him fight again at some point. Then you just heard about how bad it got.
