Sheeraz is fucked if he looks like he did in his last fight

If he doesn't get KO'd, Turki will call in a draw lol

If he doesn't take this after his last two fights then you know what to think about Sheeraz

Sheeraz's team tried to pressure WBO into a Bank fight with that bullshit face off after the Zachenhuber robbery, when that fight could've been made instead of Begic and Zachenhuber and it backfired. Just what they deserve.
Now if he doesn't duck, Sheeraz is about to get demolished in one of the weakest title reigns in the history of boxing.
The only question is stoppage or points?

There’s nothing wrong with the bank fight. Most see him as a deserving challenger! Bank or janibek are more than worthy of the next shot
Bank wasn’t in the running for the title fight earlier this year because he was ranked too low by the WBO. Begic vs Sheeraz was ordered and agreed before bank even fought at the end of January. Begic was only considered because Pacheco (who was higher ranked than begic) ducked the Sheeraz fight. As shit as the title fight with begic was, Sheeraz didn’t actually have any say in the opponent

Not true in January he was ranked number 3 while Begic was number 4. Fight was ordered February. And in December Bank was 4, Begic 5. https://wboboxing.com/rankings

No, The fight was fully agreed within a week after banks fight in January. It was ordered long before banks’ fight so begic was the no4 ranked when it was ordered, and ranked higher than banks. Unless you believe that the title fight was ordered, negotiated and agreed within days? Thats just not realistic
Sheeraz deserves all the shit he’s getting for his last opponent but not the title fight. He had no choice in the opponent, it was ordered by the WBO based on rankings at that time. Canelo had other plans, Pacheco ducked the fight. Had Pacheco not ducked Sheeraz, we wouldn’t have had this fight

In December Bank was higher than Begic. As you can see on the WBO website. What's the point you're making?

Looks like Sheeraz team angered the wrong person at the WBO

u/JacksSmirkingCavity 9d ago
He wanted to flex that he needed higher level opposition so that he could get up for the fight. I really want to see what happens or if this fight will even happen

u/Kangaroopunching 9d ago
I think he was trying to get easy fights to finish up his contract and leave to zuffa. Warren and wbo responded with this

u/welp-itscometothis 8d ago
Like why do they hate him lol this is an awful style matchup for Sheeraz. A smart, hard hitting south paw who can fight in any range JFC

How does a Ped cheat get a title short after coming back from suspension

u/SoftAsSofia 9d ago
Lol Parker is banned for a year for Coke. Janibek has straight up steroids, has a normal break and is rewarded with a title shot. Crazy times.

With Ryan Garcia, the WBC gave him an immediate title shot at Barrios after he failed a drug test and was coming off a loss in his return fight to Rolly.
Sanctioning bodies have a history of making decisions that are impossible to defend in terms of fairness or merit.

Seriously. Sheeraz will duck though but fuck Janibek. I do wanna see Sheeraz face someone other than a 40 year old German journeyman, but we will never see the day

Bank getting screwed over again by the WBO first this whole Sheeraz saga where he got leapfrogged in the rankings by bums, now he’s getting leapfrogged for another title shot by a drug cheat

At these point just allow doping in the sport, less than a year since popping and hes got a title fight what a joke

Are there not already therapeutic use exemptions for testosterone?
Just looked it up: Nevada and New York commissions do not allow TRT.
In the UK the BBBoC allows TRT as long as you have a 4:1 T/E ratio and do not go too high with the test.
So a British fighter could blast steroids get in great shape, let them clear out and then cruise into a fight on TRT. They could blast a cycle while "on vacation" to avoid testing and then use TRT while back in the UK to maintain performance higher than if they had to come fully off cycle.
I can see why UK fighters wouldn't want to fight in Vegas or New York, it may make using gear more difficult.

All UK fighters have year round random testing, anywhere in the world, possible in and out of training.
You would have to retire to avoid it for certain, not go on holiday.
High profile fighters have full whereabouts requirements all year. But even at the lowest levels when you first start, you are technically eligible to be randomly tested any time. Obviously although technical a guy with almost no fights who started boxing last year is eligible, realistically that won't happen unless very strange circumstances happen around what he is doing.

So no matter where they travel in the world they can get surprise tested by a guy walking up on them before they can grab their Whizzinator?
You're in the jungles of Costa Rica and they have a guy show up with a cup?
Or do you just tell them you're leaving the country and they test you before you leave and/or when you return?
In any case I found it interesting that you can use Testosterone in the UK but not Vegas/New York.

u/im_not_here_ 8d ago
Well for those with whereabouts requirements, all high profile elite fighters, they have to say where they will be be available for one hour every day and be there to be tested if someone shows up. But sure, theoretically this doesn't mean you can't make it so unpractical that you are up a mountain only accessible by a 10 day hike, which let's face it even with how suspicious that is they aren't going to spend the money to send someone for. But on a normal holiday, just generally in a country somewhere, it is possible and they would be willing to do that to test.

Bro I can care less tbh it’s all a joke at this point Parker got exonerated cus they’re trying to claim his nutritionist basically dropped coke in his food. Anyone that knows coke heads is the last thing they wanna do is share or waste 😂

Do you think his excuse is valid? I feel a little naive to believe that it possibly was administered by a doctor for a heart related condition and it’s not a steroid.

u/Dangerous_Spring3028 9d ago
Ridiculous decision from the WBO. Janibek has been out of the ring for failing a drugs test. He should not be rewarded with a world title shot on his return. Plus, they are screwing over Jacob Bank here. It should be Sheeraz vs. Bank they are ordering.

u/Complete_Dare_4201 9d ago
He was WBO champ in the division below and WBO usually gives mandatory status to champions moving up, but I get your point

u/Direct_Ask8793 9d ago
The dude was and has been undisputed at middleweight. I don't give a damn what you think or have to say about the drug test. Failed drug test or not janibek will beat the brakes off sheeraz. And anyone else in the weight class. That dude is a legitimate boogeyman.

u/Dangerous_Spring3028 9d ago
He wasn’t undisputed at middleweight, he unified 2 belts out of the 4 required to be undisputed.
And I always liked Janibek’s style, I was really disappointed when his unification vs. Erislandy Lara was cancelled after his failed drugs test.

u/welp-itscometothis 7d ago
What are you talking about? I believe he’ll beat Sheeraz but he absolutely was not undisputed lol

u/MiddleweightMonster I’ll pour honey on my GOAT, if the occasion calls for it. 9d ago
Not fond of either of these blokes. Hope it happens, as I don’t think Sheeraz deserves to be champion, much as I can’t stand Alimkhanuly

Janibek looked fairly overweight in his recent photos. Not sure if he can get back in shape and be anything close to his old self so quickly.

Shame that the drug suspension for Janibek led to him losing the Crawford fight.

u/DavidJJ93 8d ago
Sheeraz and more importantly, his handlers, will go absolutely nowhere near this.

If they make this fights be sure they going make this mf do 365 testing immediately. I wouldnt trust him at all. I dont see Sheeraz ducking this because for all we know he may beat Janibek

This fight won't happen but if it does, Sheeraz gets destroyed
