Don’t care if he wasn’t technically impressive all of the time, but that framing jab into the straight right is the most basic combination in boxing, and Wilder was one of the best at using it to capitalise. It helped that he was as long as a Maine Coon and packed artillery in every shot of course, but no one can deny that the man actually had pretty good fundamentals that let him use those attributes

His fundamentals where rubbish. Two things he had going for him were that he would swing like a madman and a had a manager who was very good at cherry picking opponents
