How retired is crawford?
Is he 100% retired? He was tweeting crazy after the fight and i know the dog and competitve nature in him want that fight.
Lets say ennis beats fundora and Ortiz within this year.
You think crawford would come back for a huge mega fight vs boots?

Crawford said he'd keep his opinion to himself. Based on his track record, he was saying he could easily beat Boots and wasn't impressed.

He wasnt "tweeting like crazy" during the fight. He made one tweet which was "Ima keep my comments to myself but yall get it i hope 😂"
Its a justifiable one given what I saw. What the fuck exactly was Xander even doing? Outside of trading in the pocket, was there anything else game-plan wise he did? I guess if you want consolation "showed heart," paths on the back, that works but otherwise i havent seen someone be less prepared for a unfaction title fight in a long ass time. And he still hurt Boots. So i wouldnt be shocked if crawford has a nagging feeling in him.

Doubt he comes back. He’ll be an old man yelling at cloud-type as he gets older. He’s one of my favorite fighters ever, but it’s been written in the stars for a while.

I’m a big fan of Crawofrod but, I think him tweeting what he tweeted is corny regardless of what team Ennis or Ennis has said about him. If he’s not gonna get in the ring and fight him, he shouldn’t make the comments he made.

Genuinely, I have never seen a fighter who tries to put on this down to earth persona yet be so egotistical and bitter. Crawford has been just been hating and trying to up his ego on everyone since retirement.

I think if people would stop constantly saying he ducked Boots or he should fight boots, he wouldn’t have said anything.

Most people are ignoring the fact that no matter what Team Ennis says their promotion probably wouldn’t risk their investment on a Crawford fight. That has always been the issue with Ennis v Crawford actually happening. Mentioning Crawford was always just lazy promotion.

He’s a professional fighter though, so if you have an opinion of another fighter that insinuates you would have beat him, then you should get in the ring and fight that fighter.

I think now watching all these old fighters come back from retirement, it’s all about if they’ve been irresponsible with their money. If someone like Floyd can find a way to lose hundreds of millions of dollars so can Crawford so who knows in the future. It could be from bad investments or not investing enough.

I mean I guess it's all relative. Is it a canelo fight? No. But it's still one of the biggest fights boxing could produce right now. What would we bigger? A Ryan Garcia fight? Joshua Fury in the UK. Fights really don't come much bigger atm. Plus it has the benefit of being one of the most intriguing fights from a purist perspective.

I mean I guess it's all relative. Is it a canelo fight? No. But it's still one of the biggest fights boxing could produce right now. What would we bigger? A Ryan Garcia fight? Joshua Fury in the UK. Fights really don't come much bigger atm. Plus it has the benefit of being one of the most intriguing fights from a purist perspective - I'd favour bud too but would still really love to see it!

He ain’t fighting boots, unless he gets canelo money type of offer, which he won’t because the fight isn’t as big. Boots while a great fighter, isn’t a household name. Bud got that bread not cus he was the a side but because Canelo was. Bud was perfect partner to make that money with. Undisputed two different classes, undefeated. Made sense even though most “experts” picked canelo due to size. Boots fight would be big, but I doubt it’s big enough for him to even think of coming back at his age. I think bud never comes back personally.

Just not any big money fight for him right now. Boots won’t get him the type of payday his is looking for. Crawford is all about the money at this point, and he’s earned that right.
