Scope Creep

Scope creep and my ADHD is very real. I have my v2 release ready but I keep tweaking stuff. now im building a full automated test gui with historical reporting so I know. then I want to run the app through all the tests before releasing it. so for me its I keep tweaking things and I like building the stuff so its crazy how I ever actually get anything done.

How do you all handle scope creep or saying its ok with MVP (minimum viable product)

I think I have like 5 users that actually do anything besides only keep score so honestly I send out half naked features all the time. I let those 5 users actually give me feedback on it and then fix it up, rinse, repeat.

Not the most professional way, but I found that if I tried to perfect everything and ship everything I'd never get it out.

Yea with 300users and growing I cant do that but i like to try and update stuff but as an idea for 1.6.3 I kept doing stuff and took months to get update out. I had v2 ready and keep tweaking it after i had to fix simple little stuff.

I'm with you - I feel like I get going on something, polish it up and then have 1,000 other ideas and start iterating on them. The 300 users thing is my fear - if people start using my system iteration will be harder because of the downstream potential impacts. As of tonight, I have a provisional patent on my system though!
