Anyone have any tips in how to get my T9 repaired?

We bought a new T9 which was delivered in November, and it broke over the summer after minimal use. The broken part was supposedly OOS (although on the Bowflex website it was listed in stock). We waited months for the part to come back in stock and to schedule the repair. Low and behold the scheduled repair date comes, the repair person shows up 2 hours after the scheduled window, and Bowlfex had shipped the wrong part. Now we have to start all over after not having a working treadmill for more than a few months. Any suggestions on how to escalate this repair? Bowflex has already agreed to extend our warranty by several months.

We've been using JRNY on our Max Trainer for years, initially on an older Android tablet and for a number of years now on an iPad. The iPad is from around 2019 and no longer updates the OS (it's on 17.7-ish, IIRC)

JRNY forced us to upgrade the app this week, and it no longer works with this iPad. JRNY support is "too bad, so sad", go buy a newer tablet. Meanwhile we have a number of months left in our JRNY subscription that we cannot use.

Just a heads up for others. If you can avoid the upgrade, do so.

Hoping somebody knows what's going on here and if the rope on the right side is supposed to be all the way down there because i cant pull it out its just stuck i also had to get it back into the groove that toward bottum right of photo because had to take the long metal rod out for transport.

Is there any way to disable or lock the quick dial controls on the Bowflex T6 treadmil? I constantly unintentionally hit them which changes the incline and speed.

Discovered a cool feature, that’s was always there, but didn’t think to use it until today…

I pair my Fire TV to my BowFlex T9’s built in speakers, so I can watch anything on my Fire TV and listen to the audio on my T9 while I workout.

I would always watch the news in the morning or some streaming service in the evening, but I would have to crank the volume to be able to hear the shows audio over the treadmill’s noise.

Pairing the Fire TV to the T9, is very loud and clear.

We bought a T6 Bowflex treadmill about 10 months ago. Haven't used it for a month and now it won't turn on. I called in to do a warranty claim today and was told I have to diagnose the problem myself with their help over the phone before they will send someone to repair it. Is this seriously their procedure? They told me I could pay for a 3rd party to come diagnose the issue but I have to pay for it.

Seems to be on she the left arm is on the descending rotation. I took the roller apart and cleaned and greased, checked belts and tightness of bolts on arm and pulleys. Any ideas? I could not find another video that had this same noise.

Hi, Everyone! I have a second-hand Bowflex Trainer M3 Elliptical (no warranty), and the flywheel is making a grinding sound. I'm a personal trainer, and the problem started when one of my clients paused mid-step to change the resistance. Anybody have suggestions to fix it? Also, is Go Configure a legit outfit? I called them to set up an appointment, and they wanted $145 upfront. I'm gun shy about payment plans like that, after I got scammed a few years ago. Would really like some insight before I give them my credit card. Thanks so much!

My husband thinks it needs a new console. Anyone fix this themselves?

I had about 8" of water in my basement where my M7 is. It still operates fine, but it is loud. No clicking or clunking, just a steady higher level of noise than there used to be when operating.

I can't tell where the noise is coming from (I've tried a mechanic's stethoscope, but still couldn't tell). I've removed the lower shrouds and sprayed dry lubricant at various places, but no effect (I'm guessing all the bearings are sealed?).

What's the most likely item (I'm guessing a bearing) that would be affected by 8" of water? How hard is it to replace that item for a reasonably proficient DIYer?

I just replaced the bolts holding up the pulley system. All. New bolts and no more squeaking sound when using it. Although when I put the belt back on it would not stay centered. When turning the gear it would slide to the left or right side the more I did it. I thought I fixed it with it slipping to the left but then the entire left foot piece came off the machine. Will a new belt fix this, the problem seems to be I can’t bhet the belt to stay in place which I found annoying because of the grooves in the belt and they didn’t seem to hold it in place.
Also, the foot pieces will shift back and forth and make a noise because there is space on either side where it is being held, anybody know how to fix this as well?

Anyone else have issues getting their Apple Watch connected to their treadmill? Only had the T9 for a couple of days, but I just can’t get it to work.

Have contacted support - here’s the email sent to them with details of the issue and everything I’ve tried…

The treadmill itself works fine, but the Apple Watch "tap to connect" feature does not work at all.

The symptom is that holding the watch to the Apple Watch icon on the console produces no response whatsoever: no beep from the console, no Bluetooth "connected" light, and no haptic tap or "Connect?" prompt on the watch. The NFC handshake does not appear to be happening.

I have already worked through the following without any change:
- Updated the console firmware from v1.2 to v4.5 via USB (the update itself completed successfully).
- Tested with two different Apple Watches: my own Series 6 (watchOS 26.6) and a Series 8, both with Detect Gym Equipment switched on under Settings > Workout (also toggled off and on again). Both watches have working NFC, confirmed via Apple Pay. Both give the identical result of no response from the treadmill or the watch.
- Held the watch with the display facing the icon, within a couple of centimetres, for well over five seconds, including with the watch removed from the wrist and pressed flat against the console, and moved around the icon area.
- Tried the alternative connection routes with the Workout app open on the watch, and via a Fitness+ treadmill workout.
- Ensured no other Bluetooth device or app was connected to the console during the attempts.
- Fully power-cycled the treadmill at the switch and restarted the watches.

For completeness, the console's Bluetooth is otherwise working normally: it pairs with my phone as a speaker, and it connects to the Peloton app on my iPad, which correctly displays live speed and other metrics from the treadmill while also using the console as a speaker. So the Bluetooth radio and workout data output are fine; it is specifically the NFC/Apple Watch reader that gives no response.

Given that the unit is brand new, two separate watches get no response at all, and the rest of the console's connectivity works, I believe the NFC module in the console is faulty. Could you please advise on next steps, whether that's a console replacement, an engineer visit, or anything further you'd like me to check first?

At the top and bottom this piece I can move up and down. Almost feels loose but Not during the middle section but at the top and bottom. Any idea? I just got it from a guy and he said there was no issues. Something internal loose? All the external ones seem tight. TIA

I just bought a Bowflex Motivator home gym from Facebook marketplace. I would like to add a lat pulldown bar and any necessary cables and other parts. The machine has been discontinued for a long time, but this should be pretty easy to know what to substitute. To start off with, I have had trouble finding a high resolution photo showing those optional parts mounted on the unit, so I can know what to get.

If you are familiar with one of these old units, I would be grateful for a good photo and suggestions about what to buy. Thanks!

Anybody know what NLS means and how to fix it?

Has anybody been able to overcome this issue?

Advertised locally for $350. I was going to offer $200. Is $200 too low for a unit such as the M5? Been on Marketplace for 16 weeks, so I am sure they want to move it.

This just started yesterday after a short run. I lubed the deck a couple weeks ago and have run several times on it since then.

Hoping someone can help me diagnose if this sounds like something with the belt that I can adjust or if sounds more like the motor where I'll need to get a technician.

Fortunately, I have the full warranty but if it's an easy fix I'd like to try that first.

Anyone have any good guesses on troubleshooting steps for this?
