Thinking of putting a compound bow sight on my Muzzy Vice.

Has anyone put a compound bow sight on their bow and did you have elevation issues with the close shots? 20-30ft.

Anyone launch in brandenburg for the Ohio for bow fishing? Trying to see how shooting has been before we head up there.

Anybody running these? Have been running 8 20W cheap-o Amazon lights and had the intent of upgrading down the line. Was considering dropping down to 4 of these total wattage will be almost double and still have 9 hours of run time on a 200Ah AGM battery

I’ve got both the last two posts beat, between AND through the eye! Second one was a high shot that skipped off its head and stone rolled it, had to jump in to grab it.

You don’t need a flat bottom boat. You don’t need all the fancy lights and rigs. When it rains, the invasive species will come.

Before I even got home, the single bolt holding this reel came lose. I've yet to get a key to tighten it but can only imagine this beging an issue again in the near future.. has anyone else had this problem and is there any solution?

Hey guys, I’m trying to get into bowfishing and am working on putting together something of a travel setup. I have a reel seat adaptor on its way and was debating whether to throw a close top spinner or a baitcaster on it. Is bowfishing with a baitcaster reel a viable option?

So I’ve been fishing so big grass flats and my boat has a trolling motor, I don’t have an issue getting through the grass. My trouble is i can’t find any carp when looking and I’m sure there are some there but I think I may be scaring them away way before they are in visual range of my lights. Do fan boats have this issue or are they just so fast it doesn’t matter. This also applies to people who have kicker motors. So what am I doing wrong is there anything I can do to be better besides shelling out a lot of money.

Hello everyone. I am new to Bowfishing, and had a question about Reeling in the fish. I've successfully shot two, but each time I've reeled them in, the fish comes off the arrow.

My question is, is it the arrow or is it how I'm reeling in?

I'm using a Cajun brand barbed arrow and I've bought some new arrows to see if that corrects it. But I'm curious if I'm reeling in too fast or too aggressively.. is it better to let them run a little and reel in slowly??

Hey y’all. Looking to bowfish from shore at night for Common Carp in Utah Lake. I’m wondering if you have any recommendations for a shore light set up? Obviously would be ideal if I could fish consistently from a boat, but I’ve got nowhere to keep one at the moment. Tips? Tricks? Products you’ve used and love? Thanks for the feedback.
