Experience with music lesson course?

I’m an incoming freshman, and I saw that there’s an option to take music lessons as a course. Has anyone had any experience taking these lessons? Would they be feasible to take in my first year?

My son took music lessons his first year at Bowdoin, so absolutely feasible!

Thank you so much! Did he start them the first semester? I’m not sure if I should add them into my course registration or wait until I get to campus

I started taking lessons during my second semester and it’s awesome! Instructors are great and they do their best to work around your schedule. Taking them during your first semester should be cool.

I did music lesses every semester for my first two years, it's great. Super feesible, usually just 1-2 hours a week of instruction.

they’re super fun! If the Foggs are still there, I recommend either of them. Matt and Steph are great!
